Designed to offer: Skill development and awareness for future career opportunities, collaborate with, and learn from experts and individuals with disabilities and real world experience working to close accessibility gaps
The program is free and open to middle-grade and high-school age youth and other interested individuals looking to gain the leadership skills to become confident, compassionate educators and advocates. It includes a 4-part asynchronous online workshop series covering topics such as
AODA standards, effective communication, project management, and
Diversity, Equity, Inclusion & Belonging.
Participants will gain: Certificates of completion for modules focused
on transferable employment skills and hours towards
Ontario Secondary School Diploma Community Service requirements
